Senior Care Giver

My very first experience in the care industry was at a young age. I would accompany my grandmother whilst she completed her welfare rounds as her retirement community’s Warden. Seeing the positive impact a small visit could make to someone’s wellbeing, forged my path into the healthcare sector.

Over the years I have volunteered at St John’s Ambulance as a First Aider and worked as a Student Paramedic. With Right at Home, I have worked my way up from Care Giver to Senior Care Giver and achieved a Level 3 qualification as a Lead Adult Care Worker.

The passion I have for providing the highest standard of person-centered care aligns perfectly with Right at Home’s values and promoting the independence of our clients and assisting them to live life the way they want to. I also find that assisting and educating our staff to maintain this standard is a big part of the job that I enjoy.
