Like many people I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do when I left school. I had cared for my Mum for a few years until my dad took over as the primary carer and I was at a loss as to what I wanted to do. I applied for jobs and was offered an interview at a local hospital. I went for the interview and have never looked back.

That initial taste of working in health and social care has led me to a long career in the sector, working in various care settings, from secure units to homecare services, and I have never lost my love for it.

I am passionate about supporting people with dignity and respect, striving always to listen and improve Clients’ wellbeing by respecting their wishes and being committed to supporting our CareGivers so that they can, in turn deliver the highest quality care.
