Care Manager

As the Care manager at Right at Home Calderdale, I am proud to lead a compassionate team that puts our clients at the heart of everything we do, ensuring they can live safely, happily, and with dignity in the place they call home. I’m passionate about providing person-centred care that ensures clients feel valued, supported, and heard. I work closely with clients, their families, our dedicated Care Givers, and other health professionals to create holistic, personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life. I particularly enjoy getting to know our clients personally – learning their stories, understanding what matters to them, and finding ways to make each day fulfilling and meaningful.
I also mentor and guide our Care Givers, ensuring they have the training, confidence, and encouragement needed to deliver the very best care every day. Maintaining the highest standards of compliance and care quality is central to everything I do.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors on an adventure, whether hiking, travelling, paddleboarding, or running I'm outdoors doing something. Running has become the favourite hobby recently, I’m currently training for the Paris Marathon in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society, a cause which is very close to my heart. Spending time with my family and friends, making memories together is what I treasure most. I love to laugh, embrace positivity, and try to make a difference wherever I go – even if it’s just bringing a smile to someone’s day.
