Great British Care Awards Finalists: Three Nominations for Our Team

Celebrating three finalist places and the people behind our care

Published: 01/10/2026

A Proud Moment for our Team

We’re delighted to announce that Right at Home Central Wiltshire has been named as a finalist in three categories at the Great British Care Awards.

Our finalist places are:

  • The Home Care Employer Award

  • Outstanding Contribution to Social Care – Caroline Evans

  • The Home Care Registered Manager – Amy Purps

To be recognised in three different categories is a fantastic achievement for our team and reflects the commitment, care and hard work that goes into everything we do.

Recognising our People

Two of our finalist places recognise members of our leadership team who make a difference every day.

Caroline Evans – Outstanding Contribution to Social Care

Caroline, our Operations Manager, has played an important role in the continued development of Right at Home Central Wiltshire.

Having previously worked as our Registered Manager, Caroline has a wealth of experience in care and leadership. She continues to support our team, maintain high standards and help us develop the way we deliver care to our Clients.

Her approach is always centred around people — supporting our Clients, developing our Carers and helping create a positive and supportive working environment.

Amy Purps – The Home Care Registered Manager

Amy is our Registered Manager and has continued to grow within the organisation since joining Right at Home Central Wiltshire.

She is passionate about person-centred care and supporting both Clients and Carers. Amy’s leadership is focused on creating a team where people feel supported, valued and encouraged to develop.

Her finalist place is a lovely recognition of the dedication she brings to her role and the difference she makes to our Clients, families and wider team.

The Home Care Employer Award

Our third finalist place is for The Home Care Employer Award.

We believe that great care starts with a great team. Supporting our Carers is therefore an important part of what we do.

From regular training and development opportunities to team meetings, recognition initiatives, wellbeing support and opportunities to progress within the organisation, we aim to create an environment where our people can develop and build a rewarding career in care.

Over the years, we have seen colleagues progress from Carer and Senior Carer roles into coordination, management and leadership positions. We’re proud to support people in developing their skills and careers within the organisation.

More than an Award Nomination

For us, these finalist places are not just about awards. They are an opportunity to recognise the people behind the care we provide every day.

Our Carers are at the heart of what we do, supported by our office and management teams. Together, they work to provide personalised care that helps people remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes.

We’re also proud of the relationships we have built within our local communities, working with community groups, healthcare professionals, charities and other local organisations to support people beyond the care we provide at home.

Looking Ahead to the Awards

The winners of the Great British Care Awards will be announced on 19 November.

We’ll be eagerly awaiting the results and looking forward to celebrating all the fantastic people and organisations recognised across the care sector.

Whatever the outcome, we’re incredibly proud of Caroline, Amy and our whole team for being recognised in these three categories.

For now, we’ll be keeping everything crossed!

A Big Thank You

A huge thank you to our Clients, families, Carers, colleagues and community partners for being part of our journey.

These finalist places are a reflection of the people who make Right at Home Central Wiltshire what it is, and we’re so pleased to be able to celebrate this achievement together.

Good luck to all the finalists!
