Afternoon Tea in Support of Breast Cancer Now: A Heartwarming Gathering

Coming Together Over Cake, Conversation – and a Cause That Matters

Published: 14/08/2025

On a lovely afternoon on 13th August, we welcomed our Clients and Care Assistants into our office for a special Afternoon Tea, hosted by our wonderful Hannah Reseigh-Lincoln), in support of Breast Cancer Now.

The Afternoon Tea, in support of Breast Cancer, brought people together not just to enjoy tea and sweet treats, but to stand in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer – and to raise vital funds for life-saving research and support.

A Warm Welcome and Wonderful Company

The atmosphere was full of warmth, smiles, and community spirit as guests gathered to enjoy classic Afternoon Tea delights. With cups of tea in hand and slices of cake on their plates, our Clients, Care Assistants, and office team shared laughter, stories, and support for a meaningful cause.

For those who couldn’t join in person, we made sure they didn’t miss out – A few Afternoon Tea sets were carefully packaged and delivered to Clients at home, so they too could take part in the occasion from the comfort of their own space.

Supporting Breast Cancer Now – One Cuppa at a Time

Thanks to everyone’s kindness and generosity, the event raised awareness and funds to support Breast Cancer Now’s vision: that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live – and live well. But to reach that future, action is needed now.

If you missed the event but would still like to contribute, donations are welcome via our JustGiving page here:

Every donation helps fund pioneering research and vital support for those facing breast cancer today.

Why Afternoon Tea?

Each August, thousands of people across the UK put the kettle on and hold Afternoon Teas in support of Breast Cancer Now. It’s a simple, joyful way to connect with others while helping change lives.

Behind every cake baked and every cup poured is a shared hope: a world where breast cancer doesn’t take away the people we love.
