Supporting the Community – Free Homecare Workshops in Chippenham

At Right at Home Chippenham, we understand that feeling safe, supported, and confident at home is the foundation for living a happy and independent life. That’s why we are proud to offer free Homecare Workshops to support our local community, unpaid carers, and families navigating the challenges of caring for loved ones.

Many of us are aware that falls are a leading cause of injury and hospital admission among older adults. We also know that dementia can be overwhelming for families, especially when it comes to providing the right kind of care and support. These are just some of the reasons we’ve developed a friendly, practical series of workshops to equip people with the knowledge and confidence they need.

Our Sessions Cover:

• Falls Prevention – Tips to reduce risks and improve home safety
• Dementia Care – Practical advice on supporting a loved one
• CPR Awareness – Essential life-saving skills for everyone
• What is Homecare? – Understanding how professional care can help

Workshops will run twice a month from May to July, offering a chance to learn, ask questions, and meet others who may be in similar situations.
