The cold and long nights through the start of the year can often make us feel like we don’t have a lot to do, so we’ve found local events and things to do to keep you busy while we wait for the warm weather to return.
A great way to spend time is visiting family and friends. You could also get into a series or program on tv or take up a hobby. All these ideas can keep you entertained and make time fly by.
Here are some local events you could attend.
Fringe Feb at the Neeld- 3 up-and-coming young musicians take to the stage at The Neeld in Chippenham. On Sunday 26th of February, go along for musical evening and support our local talents.
Take the Stage 2023- Heat 3- The third round of Take the Stage commences on the 3rd of March at The Neeld. This competition puts some young musicians up against each other to compete for a place in the final where they could win some great prizes.
Codebreakers: The story of Enigma- After selling out The Neeld in 2019, this WW2 show is returning on the 4th of March to tell its amazing story of codebreakers working together to decipher German messages.
80’s Disco- Relive 80’s dance music and have a dance at this disco held at The Neeld on the 11th of March. Throw on a neon outfit and relive those days!
Moments of Pleasure: The Music of Kate Bush- Moments of pleasure perform an amazing tribute to Kate Bush. They have been seen on BBC and ITV, and are now coming to The Neeld in Chippenham on the 17th of March.
North Wiltshire Symphony Orchestra- This orchestra are heading to St Andrews Church in Chippenham. They’ll be presenting a selection of film and tv music on March the 18th.
Made in Dagenham- A musical theatre performance from CLOGS Musical Theatre. Inspired by a true story, this musical comedy is about fighting for what’s right. This performance will be at The Neeld on March the 22nd.
