At Right at Home East Lancs, we provide high-quality home care to vulnerable adults across East Lancashire, supporting them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We are currently recruiting Evening Home Care Assistants for part-time and full-time shifts to join our friendly, supportive team.

About the Role

We offer flexible evening hours, covering visits from 3pm to 10pm, seven days a week. Whether you’re looking for a few evening hours or more regular evening shifts, we can work around your availability.

This is a varied and rewarding role where your care and compassion make a real difference in people’s lives.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay: £14.10 – £14.95 per hour

  • Mileage allowance paid in addition to hourly pay

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Providing companionship and emotional support

  • Motivating Clients to get the most out of their evening

  • Assisting with personal care, washing, and dressing

  • Administering medication

  • Supporting with mobility

  • Evening meal preparation and light housekeeping

  • Accompanying Clients to appointments or social outings

You will be fully supported to ensure you feel safe, confident, and valued in your role.

What We’re Looking For

  • A full UK or EU/EEA driving licence and access to your own vehicle

  • The right to work in the UK

  • A genuine passion for helping others

  • Reliability, compassion, and a positive attitude

  • Availability to work evenings

Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Healthcare Assistant, or NHS worker is welcome but not essential. We provide full training and encourage applications from candidates from all backgrounds, including retail, customer service, administration, cleaning, warehouse, and delivery roles.
