James Knott

Hello, I am James and I am the Registered Manager for Right at Home Exeter and Exmouth.

I originally trained as a Learning Disability nurse almost 25 years ago and have held a number of positions in the Health and Social care field since. From Inpatient services, residential, employment training and Supported living services. In all my roles I have been passionate about the delivery of outstanding care and developing  a well trained, compassionate and competent staff team. I also hold a Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

Born in Exeter, I moved away to study psychology at Swansea University before undertaking my Nurse training in London at St Georges Hospital medical school back in 2001. I took a break from care in 2020 and spent two years working as a labourer before returning to care with a renewed enthusiasm. 

I like to spend my spare time in the beautiful Devon countryside either trail running or walking my Beagles.
