Right at Home Harrogate was proud to attend the recent Community Networking Event at Boroughbridge Manor Care Home, hosted by Barchester Healthcare. The day brought together a diverse group of professionals, organisations, and community leaders—each committed to enhancing the well-being of people across Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, and Boroughbridge.

Our Managing Director, Veronica Manolache, joined representatives from a variety of inspiring local groups, sparking thoughtful conversations and exploring future collaborations to deliver even better support to those we care for.

Celebrating Local Organisations Making a Difference

Jennyruth Workshops shared their incredible work empowering young adults with learning disabilities through purposeful employment opportunities. Their mission to promote inclusion and independence resonates closely with our values at Right at Home.

We also had the pleasure of reconnecting with Dementia Forward, a leading dementia support organisation in North Yorkshire. Their person-centred approach and range of services offer a vital lifeline for people living with dementia and their families. We’re excited to explore ways to collaborate further and enhance our own dementia care services.

A particularly heartfelt moment came in conversation with Judy from Boroughbridge Churches, who spoke about the importance of spiritual care and staying connected to community and faith—especially in later life.

Additionally, we appreciated the insights from Gabrielle, whose reflections on personal and professional growth were a powerful reminder of why continuous learning and development matter in the care sector.
