About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you'll support clients across Salisbury, Amesbury, Downton, Andover and the surrounding villages, helping them remain independent in their own homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal care including washing, dressing and bathing
• Medication support and administration
• Preparing meals and encouraging good nutrition
• Companionship, conversation and emotional support
• Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment
• Supporting mobility and helping clients move safely around their home
• Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping or social activities

Your induction includes practical, face-to-face training covering:

• Person-Centred Care
• Communication Skills
• Safeguarding

Paid Shadowing

You'll spend time alongside experienced Care Assistants before working independently, allowing you to build confidence while being fully supported.

Comprehensive Online Learning

You'll complete accredited online learning covering:

• Dementia Awareness
• Mental Capacity
• Fire Safety
• Health & Safety
• Food Hygiene
• Infection Control
• Safeguarding Adults
• Equality & Diversity
• And much more.

• A full UK driving licence
• Your own vehicle
• Availability to work alternate weekends
