Reaching our first anniversary at Right at Home Salisbury & Andover is a moment we are incredibly proud to share. What started as a vision to deliver outstanding, person-centred care in our local community has grown into something truly special. Over the past year, we have supported individuals and families across Salisbury, Andover and the surrounding villages with compassionare, reliable care at home.
From First Steps to Meaningful Impact
Like many new care services, our journey began with determination, passion and a clear purpose. In those early days, every enquiry, every visit and every conversation mattered. We built our foundations on trust, taking the time to understand each Client's unique needs and delivering care that is tailored, respectful and consistent.
Over the past year, we have seen steady and meaningful growth. From our very first care hours to supporting multiple Clients across the community, every step forward has been driven by our commitment to doing things the right way. For us, it has never been about rushing growth, but about building something sustainable, personal and genuinely impactful.
A Team That Makes It All Possible
At the heart of everything we do it our incredible team. From our dedicated carers to our leadership team including Debs, Michelle, Martin and Courtney, every single person plays a vital role in delivering the high standards of care we are known for.
We have invested heavily in training, support and creating a positive working environment because we know that when our team feels valued and confident, our Clients receive the very best care. This year has been filled with team milestones, shared successes and plenty of laughter along the way.
Supporting Our Local Community
Being part of the Salisbury & Andover community has been one of the most rewarding aspects of our first year. We have not only provided care within people's homes but also worked hard to build meaningful connections locally.
From community events and awareness days to simple initiatives like our thermometer campaign and hydration support, we are passionate about helping people stay safe, well and supported at home. These small but meaningful actions reflect our wider mission to be more than just a care provider, but a trusted presence in the community.
Person Centred Care at the Core
Everything we do is built around the individual. We believe that great care starts with listening, understanding and adapting to each person's preferences, routines and needs.
Whether it is companionship, personal care or more complex support, our focus is always on promoting independence, dignity and quality of life. Over the past year, we have seen first hand the difference that consistent, relationship-led care can make, not just for our Clients, but for their families too.
P P | Daughter of Client"Following a needs assessment meeting on 21st Jan we agreed a limited care package with Right at Home starting on 23rd January. But on 22nd January we had a problem with my father which we could not manage alone. I called Right at Home to ask for advice and amazingly they offered to send two people immediately one of which was the manager. They resolved the situation and gave me a chance to leave the house and recover. It was incredible support. I am so grateful."
Looking Ahead to Year Two
While we are proud of everything we have achieved in our first year, we are even more excited about what lies ahead. Our focus for the future is to continue growing sustainably, reaching more people who need support and strengthening our presence within the local community.
We will continue to invest in our team, expand our services and build even stronger relationships with local partners, healthcare professionals and families across Salisbury and Andover.
