Hello, my name is Sara Woodley. I am acting Registered Manager for Right at Home (Twickenham and Richmond)

I have been working care for many years and gain real pleasure from the seeing the impact that our services have on our clients and their families.

Whilst my children were young I started work in home care. I quickly realised that this was something that I really loved and could see myself pursuing as a full time career. I went on to support young adults with life- limiting conditions. I held this role for 12 years before progressing to become a risk assessor and trainer, which was a very rewarding role as I understood the needs of a client, their families and the carer.

I have worked alongside our Business Owner Alastair Shanks for over eight years now as Registered Manager for Right at Home GF and have helped to grow a team of over 100 amazing CareGivers in our Farnham office where we have an Oustanding rating with the CQC. It has been quite a journey from proving much of the care myself eight years ago to now leading a team of care managers. I am proud of the culture of trust and quality of care that we have built in the team and I am very exciting about working with the great team in the Twickenham office.

People often ask me what makes Right at Home different from our competition. There are a few things that make us different like a our minimum of 1 hour visits, our No Strangers Policy and all that we do in the community, however I believe that the real difference is all about the values within the team and the culture we have. Our team work hard to find ways to make a difference to our clients and their families.
