Right at Home Twickenham and Richmond has joined forces with Everyone Active to offer free cricket for people living with dementia and their carers.

The six-week pilot of Dementia Cricket starts on Monday 6 November from 5-6pm at Sunbury Leisure Centre. Places are offered free of charge on a first come, first served basis so booking is essential.

Hamish MacDonald from Right at Home says: “Dementia Cricket provides a unique and enjoyable way for individuals living with dementia to take part in a physical activity and enhance their well-being.

“The hour-long session will also give carers an opportunity to meet others who are in a similar caregiving role. I look forward to welcoming anyone who is affected by dementia to join us and promise a warm welcome in an inclusive and understanding environment.”

Right at Home is dedicated to raising awareness about living with dementia and finding ways to create and promote a dementia-friendly community.
