Suzana Stojanova

Registered Manager

Suzana Stojanova is the Registered Manager at Right at Home Wandsworth & Lambeth.

Suzana’s journey prior to Right at Home is diverse, having lived in several countries before settling in the UK, including Germany, Greece, Czechia, and Macedonia, from where she is originally.

Suzana holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in The Psychodynamics of Human Development from Birkbeck, University of London. Suzana's goal is to continue her training to also become an accredited counsellor and therapist.

"Living in London for the past 12 years has enriched me with experience in working one-on-one through a person-centered approach. From supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and autism to working with adults with learning disabilities, autism, dementia, brain injuries, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. I have worked with many excellent professionals and within networks which have contributed to my personal growth and development toward my career in leadership and management in adult social care over the past 7 years.

One of the most profound experiences that had an impact on me culturally and further inspired me to pursue a career in care was volunteering in Koh Samui (Thailand) as a teacher in a primary school for children aged 6-12. While I was there, I learned a great deal about life, different cultures, and the true meaning of care, compassion, and empathy."

Outside work, Suzana enjoys being in nature, working with her partner on their allotment, reading, as well as learning about medicinal herbs and their healing properties.

"One of my all-time favorite songs is David Bowie’s Heroes. I can translate the meaning of the words in the song to many areas of my life – that we can be heroes every day for at least a moment, by making someone else’s day better and brighter, with, for instance, providing care for a life they love."
