We are bursting with pride for our incredible Care Manager, Christine, who achieved something truly remarkable—completing the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon!
Christine, who is the dedicated Care Manager for Right at Home Calderdale, took on the iconic streets of Paris with determination, resilience, and heart. Watching her cross that finish line was more than just a proud moment—it was a powerful reflection of the compassion and commitment she shows every single day in her role.

More Than Just a Race
For Christine, this wasn’t just about running 42.2 kilometres. It was about standing alongside the individuals and families she supports who are affected by dementia.
As Care Manager for Right at Home Calderdale, Christine is passionate about empowering people to live with dignity, independence, and purpose. This marathon became her way of going the “extra mile”—raising awareness and making a meaningful difference beyond her everyday care.
She ran in support of Alzheimer's Research UK, helping to fund vital research for the one million people in the UK currently living with dementia. With promising developments and treatments to slow Alzheimer's disease on the horizon, every step she took brings hope for a brighter future.
