July Newsletter: Celebrating Our Community, Team and Summer Events

Our July newsletter is now available, bringing together the latest news, wellbeing advice and community updates from Right at Home Central Wiltshire.

This month is particularly special as we celebrate being recognised as a Top 20 Home Care Provider in the South West. This award reflects the dedication of our incredible Carers and office team, as well as the trust and kind feedback we receive from our Clients and their families. We're proud to share this achievement with everyone who has been part of our journey.

Join Us at Our Big Green Picnic

One of the highlights this month is our Big Green Picnic, a free, dementia-friendly community event taking place on Thursday 30^th July, from 11am to 1pm, at The Climbing Academy (The Arc), Chippenham.

The event will feature refreshments, bingo, storytelling, sensory activities, a bouquet bar and a children's play area, providing a welcoming environment for people of all ages to connect and enjoy time together.

Supporting Health and Wellbeing

Our newsletter also includes practical advice to help people stay active and well during the summer, including our July Exercise Challenge, designed to strengthen legs and improve mobility, along with helpful tips for staying safe during periods of hot weather.

Celebrating Community Connections

We're also looking back at some wonderful community activities from the past month, including our RSPCA Week Dog Walk and our visit to Kingsbury Green Academy, where we introduced students to rewarding careers in social care. These events reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting wellbeing, building community connections and inspiring the next generation.

Meet Our Growing Team

This month we're pleased to welcome Gemma Moon, our new Care Coordinator, along with several new Care Assistants who have joined our growing team. Their passion and dedication will help us continue delivering outstanding, person-centred care across Central Wiltshire.
