Right at Home Central Wiltshire Celebrates Two Achievements at the Right at Home Awards 2026
Celebrating Outstanding Achievement Across Our Team
Published: 18/09/2026
It was a night to remember for the Right at Home Central Wiltshire team as we celebrated two fantastic achievements at the Right at Home Awards 2026.
We are delighted to have been named the winner of the Business of the Year Award, recognising the dedication, teamwork and progress of everyone across our organisation.
The evening brought another special achievement too, with our Registered Manager, Amy Purps, named the winner of the Rising Star of the Year Award.
The awards ceremony took place on 16 September, bringing together teams from across the Right at Home network to celebrate achievements and recognise the people and businesses making a difference across the organisation.
A Year of Progress and Achievement
The Business of the Year award recognises the collective effort of our team and the progress we have made over the past year.
While we are proud of how the business has developed, our focus has always remained on providing high-quality, person-centred care, supporting our people and making a positive contribution to the communities we serve.
We have continued to strengthen our systems and processes, develop our team, build relationships with local referral partners and create new opportunities for Clients, Carers and colleagues.
Our weekly reviews help us monitor key areas of the business, including care delivery, enquiries, recruitment, capacity and compliance. This allows us to make informed decisions and respond effectively as our organisation continues to develop.
Quality Remains at the Heart of What We Do
Maintaining quality remains one of our highest priorities.
Our independent recognition includes a 9.9 rating on Homecare.co.uk and being named a Top 20 Home Care Provider in the South West.
However, we know that quality is about much more than ratings.
We actively listen to Clients, Carers and the wider community through reviews, surveys, drop-in sessions and community engagement. This feedback helps us understand what matters most and identify where we can improve.
Over the past year, this has contributed to initiatives including community bingo events to help reduce loneliness, a grief workshop developed following Client and Carer feedback, a dog walk during RSPCA Week and stronger collaboration with local referral partners.
We have also continued to develop our Client Matrix system, helping to bring important information together, improve oversight and support better decision-making.
Investing in Our People
Our success is built on the people who make up our team.
We are committed to supporting our colleagues as they develop their skills, take on new responsibilities and progress within the organisation. Over the past year, several team members have taken on new roles and responsibilities, helping us strengthen our leadership and support our continued growth.
Creating opportunities for development is an important part of our approach. We want our people to feel supported, valued and able to build their careers within the organisation.
Building Stronger Community Connections
We have continued to build relationships with GP practices, healthcare services, charities, voluntary organisations, mobility and equipment providers, legal and financial professionals, and community and faith groups.
These partnerships help us connect people with the right support and ensure that our services remain closely linked to the wider community.
Our community activity has also helped people discover our services. Following our involvement with organisations including Age UK Wiltshire and Beyond Dementia, individuals have contacted us after attending or engaging with our outreach activities.
For us, this is about building trust and making sure people know where they can turn for support when they need it.
1,500 Smiles – Creating Social Impact
In 2026, we launched our three-year CSR strategy, with our first focus being 1,500 Smiles.
The programme aims to reduce loneliness and increase community connection through volunteering and engagement.
Our team has supported community bingo events, charity and fundraising activities, Client and Carer initiatives and other local activities designed to bring people together.
We have also established a volunteer team, giving our people opportunities to contribute their time and skills beyond their usual roles.
This reflects our belief that our responsibility as a business extends beyond providing care. We want to make a positive contribution to the communities where our Clients, Carers and team members live.
A Culture of Recognition and Development
Alongside our wider achievements, we have continued to focus on creating a positive culture for our team.
This includes Carer drop-in sessions, monthly team meetings, Quarterly Carer Awards, Going Extra Mile recognition, work anniversary celebrations, flu vaccinations and health checks.
We also encourage an open feedback culture, with visible action taken in response to suggestions and concerns.
These initiatives are designed to make sure our people feel valued, supported and able to contribute as the organisation develops.
Supporting the Wider Right at Home Network
Our commitment to improvement also extends beyond our own branch.
Our Operations Manager, Caroline Evans, contributes to the Training Advisory Group and Registered Manager forums, while our team shares resources, ideas and learning with other offices across the Right at Home network.
We believe that sharing knowledge and supporting one another makes the whole network stronger and ultimately benefits the people we support.
A Team Achievement
Winning Business of the Year is a recognition of everything the team has achieved together.
“Winning Business of the Year is a fantastic achievement for the whole team. It reflects how much we have developed together over the past year, but importantly, it recognises the hard work and commitment of everyone at Right at Home Central Wiltshire. I’m incredibly proud of what the team has achieved.”
The award is a reminder that success is about more than business performance. It is about building the right foundations to provide quality care, support our people and make a positive difference in our communities.

Moments of Connection
The evening was made even more special when our Registered Manager, Amy Purps, was named Rising Star of the Year.
The award recognises Amy’s development, leadership and contribution to Right at Home Central Wiltshire. Since joining the organisation, Amy has continued to grow in confidence, knowledge and responsibility, progressing through the business and taking on an increasingly important role within the team.
Amy’s achievement reflects both her personal development and the positive impact she has had on the people around her. As Registered Manager, she plays a key role in supporting Clients, Carers and colleagues, helping to maintain high standards of care while contributing to the continued development of the service.
She is known for her positive attitude, willingness to support others and commitment to finding solutions. Whether she is supporting a Client, helping a Carer, working with families or contributing to wider business improvements, Amy approaches her role with enthusiasm and compassion.
Her progression demonstrates what can be achieved when people are given the support, encouragement and opportunities to develop their careers within the organisation. Amy has embraced each new challenge and has continued to build her leadership skills while remaining focused on the values at the heart of Right at Home Central Wiltshire.
Speaking about her award, Amy said:
“I’m absolutely delighted to receive the Rising Star Award. I’m so grateful to be part of such a supportive team and proud of everything we’ve achieved together. This award means so much to me and inspires me to continue making a positive difference to our Clients, Carers and the wider team.”
Caroline Evans, our Operations Manager, said:
“Amy is so deserving of this award. I’ve seen how much she has grown in confidence and responsibility, and how committed she is to supporting our Clients and the wider team. She always brings a positive attitude and is willing to step up and help wherever she can. It’s lovely to see her hard work recognised, and we’re all incredibly proud of her.”
Wonderful Reflection
Amy’s award is a wonderful reflection of the culture we want to create at Right at Home Central Wiltshire: one where people are encouraged to learn, progress and make a meaningful contribution.
We are incredibly proud of Amy’s achievement and excited to see how she continues to develop as a leader. Her success is an inspiration to colleagues across the team and a reminder of the opportunities available to those who are committed to making a difference in social care.
