Hi there! I'm Elle, and I've been a proud member of the Right at Home team as a Care Assistant since January 2022. My journey into home care was driven by a simple but powerful desire: to make a difference in people's lives. And let me tell you, every day since has been an adventure filled with growth, challenges, and countless rewards.

One of my standout skills in this role is efficient communication. I've always believed that a good chat can lift spirits, bridge gaps, and create meaningful connections. This love for conversation helps me provide exceptional elderly care at home, turning routine visits into moments of joy and companionship for our clients.

Three things about this job make me leap out of bed every morning:
The rewarding feeling of knowing I've made someone's day a little brighter. The fact that it doesn't feel like a job. Instead, it's a passion, a calling that gives me purpose. The variety each day brings. No two days are the same; this diversity keeps me constantly learning and adapting.

Living in Wythenshawe, my life outside work is just as full and vibrant. My dog, Bodhi, and I are an inseparable duo. On our walks, we explore the outdoors and soak up nature's beauty. When I'm not out and about, you might find me deep in the virtual worlds of video games or in a peaceful state of meditation, finding balance and tranquillity.

On a desert island, it's no surprise that my dog is the one thing I couldn't live without. Bodhi is more than a pet; he's a loyal friend, an endless source of comfort, and a constant reminder of life's simple joys. And let's not forget Hawk, my bearded dragon, which adds another layer of companionship and intrigue to my life.

At the heart of it all, my genuine enjoyment comes from helping others. There's something incredibly fulfilling about seeing a smile spread across someone's face, knowing you've played a part in that moment. I firmly believe the world could use more smiles, kindness, and people looking out for one another. That's what I aim to bring to my work every day at Right at Home: a dose of happiness, a listening ear, and compassionate care beyond the call of duty.

So, whether providing palliative care, dementia home care, or simply being there as a friend, my goal is to make a positive impact, one day at a time.
