Annual Conference to Celebrate 15 Years of Exceptional Franchising in Care

15 Years of Making a Difference Through Homecare Franchising
Our Annual Conference will open in Chester this week, bringing together Franchise Owners from across the network for two days of shared learning, valued networking and celebration.
The event will mark 15 years of franchising at Right at Home UK, with reflections on our incredible journey woven into a packed agenda. It is a great opportunity to celebrate how far we have come together, while also looking firmly ahead.
Inspired by this 15-year anniversary, the theme for this year is ‘Crystal’. As we reflect on our journey, we want to be crystal clear about where we are going next – our ambition for the network, the opportunities ahead, and what we need to do together to deliver the next chapter of Right at Home’s growth.
Conference will showcase how our National Office support team has strengthened over the years to equip franchisees with the tools and resources they need to deliver exceptional care, while shining a spotlight on care teams across the network who have made a meaningful difference in their communities.
Sharing Ideas to Improve Care
Annual Conference, to be held on Tuesday 15 - Wednesday 17 September, will give franchisees the chance to share best practices and gain practical guidance on building resilient homecare businesses.
It will feature compelling talks, panel discussions and workshops designed to inspire, challenge and prepare care teams for the future.
Our CEO, Lucy Campbell, will open the event with an address built around the Crystal theme and touching on the continued growth of the network and the progress we are making towards becoming a £100m network. There’s plenty to celebrate this year, as we are in our strongest quality position to date, with 35% of our inspected services rated Outstanding.
But the main focus will be forward-looking, exploring the changing social care and political landscape, the opportunities ahead of us, and the investments we are making in technology, AI, business growth and quality to help our Owners build stronger, more sustainable businesses. We have listened carefully to feedback from the network this year, and Lucy will be setting out how we intend to strengthen the rhythm between National Office and the wider network – particularly around closing the feedback loop and making it much clearer how Franchise Owner input shapes what we do.
Lucy will also be discussing the wider future of homecare through a fireside chat with Dr Jane Townson OBE, Chief Executive of the Homecare Association, looking at the key issues shaping the sector and what they could mean for providers and the people we support.
“My hope for this year’s Conference is that every Franchise Owner leaves feeling proud of what we have achieved together, energised by the opportunity ahead and, most importantly, crystal clear about where we are going next. There is a huge amount changing around us, but we have an incredibly strong network, exceptional quality and a clear ambition for the future. I want this conference to give people real confidence and excitement about the next chapter for Right at Home.”
– Lucy Campbell | CEO, Right at Home UK
Looking Ahead to Opportunities and Challenges
Lucy’s speech will be followed by a talk from Heather Wehrle, Director of Operations at Right at Home, who will reflect on the transformation of the network over the last 12 months, including the successful launch of a new Right at Home brand and website and investment in business growth support.
The presentation will also look ahead to the opportunities and challenges facing the homecare sector and how Right at Home is preparing its franchise network through investment in data, technology, coaching and collaboration.
The conference will also cover sessions on franchising best practice and how digital technologies could transform the care sector over the next five years by improving efficiency and supporting independent living.
