Right at Home South Trafford has been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the highest rating awarded by the national regulator.

Serving Clients across Altrincham, Sale, Urmston and surrounding areas, the office achieved Outstanding ratings in both Caring and Well-led, alongside Good ratings across Safe, Effective and Responsive during its latest inspection.

The report highlighted the strong relationships built between Clients and Carers, with inspectors noting that people felt “truly respected and valued as individuals”. One Client shared: “They treat me as a friend and how you would react with a friend. It's not just physical care, it’s social... the communication is vital.”

Inspectors also recognised examples of care that went beyond day-to-day support. In one case, a Carer helped reconnect a Client with former colleagues from their healthcare career, arranging a supported afternoon tea at home after years without contact.

The report also praised the office’s proactive Falls Prevention Programme, which included enhanced staff training and practical guidance for Clients and families around mobility, footwear and home safety, contributing to a measurable reduction in avoidable falls.
