Hakeem Anjorin

Hakeem Anjorin was an active volunteer and a self-employed business consultant before he decided to use franchising as a route into a more rewarding line of work – one that he recognised was also in a high growth sector.

He began investigating Right at Home as a suitable business choice in January 2014 and over the following 12 months completed the process of due diligence, agreement, New Owner Training, office set up, key staff recruitment and registration with the Care Quality Commission, closely supported by the Right at Home UK team.

Hakeem used the opportunity presented by retail closures to secure a prominent shop frontage for his office, becoming the first office in the UK network to start up in a high street location.

He then worked with the Business Support team to recruit Angie Farlam to work alongside him; an experienced local Registered Manager who shares his passion for providing only the best standards of home care to her clients.

Hakeem’s location strategy has paid dividends, with Right at Home Croydon attracting so much passing interest that within days of receiving his registration from the Care Quality Commission he had already built a team of ten CareGivers for Angie to train and a number of potential care packages for her to assess.

Hakeem said: “I am really excited that the dream is now becoming a reality and I feel confident that, with the proven Right at Home business model, the full support of the head office team behind me and Angie by my side, my ambitions to grow this business into something great can and will be fulfilled.”
