Nichola Trott

I joined Right at Home in 2021 as a CareGiver, having never worked in the Care Industry before. I attended a full induction and found the training to be excellent, and couldn't wait to get started, supporting people and making a difference to their lives. The role gave me the flexibility I was looking for to balance working with a family life.

In 2024, I expressed an interest to grow and develop within my role and was given the opportunity to spend some time supporting the office team and learn about what goes on 'behind the scenes'. I learned so much from this experience and was gradually given more and more responsibilities to fulfil. In 2025 I was delighted to become a full-time member of the office team as a Field Care Coordinator.

I absolutely love my job. I get to meet our new clients for their Care Needs Assessments and build their personalised care plans with them.  

Outside of work I have a family and pets to care for. I enjoy anything crafty and also love to binge watch dramatic documentaries in the evenings.
