I started my career in care in 2017 in a nursing home. My mum Vikki has always been a caregiver and she inspired my start. At the nursing home, I quickly found a passion for supporting and training staff and would provide inductions for new staff. While working in the nursing home I did my level 2 and 3 apprenticeships in adult care. I then started a role in complex care which was challenging but very rewarding. In 2021, I moved into the education sector and began a role as a trainer and assessor, to employees within the health and social care sector. This allowed me to experience a vast range of care provision and meet diverse individuals and service users. I completed my Teaching and Assessing Vocational Achievement Level 3 and my Level 4 Training and Education Certificate during this role.

I’m excited for a brand-new challenge and now I hope to support the caregivers at Right at Home, to have a positive and supportive start at the company and flourish professionally.

In my free time I love to adventure out on long walks and explore. I enjoy reading and I have a mischievous pet rabbit who is 3 years old.
