Before starting Right at Home Reigate and Crawley in Dec 2016, I worked as an NHS Physiotherapist, gaining much of my experience at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. During my time as a Community Physiotherapist, I often saw how much progress older adults could make when rehabilitation was combined with high-quality care. The best outcomes happened when rehab and day-to-day support worked hand in hand. These experiences shaped my strong belief in combining care and rehabilitation to help people stay independent and improve their quality of life.

After moving from London to Surrey, I began exploring my next steps. I felt a deep connection to the values of Right at Home UK, especially the person-centred approach championed by its Chairman, Ken Deary. His vision matched my passion for helping older people live with dignity, respect, and confidence. That’s when I decided to take a leap of faith and set up my own home care business—bringing together my physiotherapy background with a commitment to exceptional care in our community.

I’m now proud to lead a fantastic team of CareGivers and office staff who live our values every day—Respect, Kindness, Empathy, Trust, and Making a Difference Every Day. Everything we do is guided by the ‘Mum’s Test’: Whether it’s matching a client with the right CareGiver or offering advice on services, we always aim to do what we’d want for our own families.
