Monsurat, known to many as Bola, is a Community Lead at Right at Home Bridgend & Vale of Glamorgan, supporting both clients and CareGivers to help ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within the community.

Bola holds an MSc in Management from the University of South Wales in Pontypridd and brings a positive attitude, professionalism, and strong organisational skills to her role. Her journey with Right at Home began in July 2024 when she joined the Cardiff office as a part-time Care Assistant while studying at university. In November 2024, she transferred to the Bridgend office before moving into a full-time position following her graduation in January.

Through her hard work, dedication, and passion for supporting others, Bola has progressed into her current role as Community Lead. She is passionate about helping both clients and colleagues and takes pride in being part of a team that makes a genuine difference to people’s lives every day.

Why did you get into care?

“For me, working in care is about supporting people and making a positive difference in their daily lives. Starting as a Care Assistant while studying gave me the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and develop a real passion for the sector.

I’m proud to now be part of the leadership team and look forward to continuing to support both our clients and CareGivers as I grow within my role.”
