Nicola Berriman is the Registered Manager  for Right at Home Bridgend & Vale of Glamorgan, bringing over 25 years of experience within the health and social care sector across a variety of settings and roles.

Throughout their career, Nicola has remained committed to delivering high-quality, values-led care and supporting both clients and staff to achieve the best possible outcomes. Her extensive experience has provided a strong understanding of the challenges faced within care services, enabling them to identify effective solutions and create positive environments where both Clients and Carers can thrive.

Passionate about teamwork and continuous improvement, Nicola enjoys working collaboratively to drive positive results and ensure that person-centred care remains at the heart of everything they do. They are dedicated to supporting individuals to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while empowering staff to deliver exceptional care.

Her professional qualifications include Level 5 Leadership and Management, Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care, and ILM Effective Leader.

Nicola is driven by a genuine desire to make a difference and takes great pride in supporting both clients and colleagues to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Why did you get into care?

"I got into care because I am passionate about making a positive difference to people's lives and helping to improve the wellbeing of others.

I find it incredibly rewarding to support clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life. Seeing the positive impact that care can have on someone's wellbeing, confidence, and happiness is what motivates me every day.

Being able to make a difference, no matter how big or small, is what makes working in care so meaningful to me."
