One of our favourite places to take clients is the Fordbridge Community Centre. It offers a really great range of activities to get involved with, such as craft club, board games and computer lessons. Sometimes our clients fancy some pampering and can have their hair done or get a manicure. They also organise day trips to local places and have a lunch club where you can meet new people and socialise. Trying out new activities with like-minded people is great for mental well-being and physical health.

Strawberry Hill House
Strawberry House is a wonderful place to visit, whether you want to look around the Gothic architecture or appreciate the beautiful gardens. There is also a nice café where you can take a break and catch up with a cup of tea and biscuits. The ‘Feel Good Garden’ at Strawberry Hill House offers gardening sessions that are popular with our green-fingered clients. Some of our keen gardeners love learning new techniques, such as the best ways to plant herbs and flowers or create a houseplant from a single leaf. Continuing to do what they love or learning something new is important for our clients as it helps to maintain confidence and remain connected to their community around Ashford.

How much does homecare cost in Ashford?

Right At Home offer a flat hourly rate of £34.50 per hour during the week and £39 per hour at weekends. Live-In care and nights are charged per day and per night, respectively, and we have a one-hour minimum care call policy to ensure that our service is delivered as efficiently as possible.
