Meet Jo, our dedicated Care Supervisor

Jo Welch is a valued member of our team, primarily serving clients in Poole with occasional work in Bournemouth when her expertise is needed. Jo's journey into care was driven by a desire to make a real difference in people's lives. This commitment shines through in her work, and she proudly recalls receiving the Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole Carer of the Year award as her proudest moment.  

Before dedicating herself to care, Jo had a successful career as a chef, working both locally and in Cumbria, mainly in hotels.  At Christmas, Jo has been known to bring Christmas lunch to those clients who wouldn't otherwise have anyone to spend Christmas with.

Outside of work, Jo enjoys the tranquillity of nature. She loves going on walks and taking boat trips. Living near Poole Quay, she's particularly fond of the view of Brownsea Island from her room, which she is her favourite sea view.
