Meet Vicki, one of our experienced and dedicated Senior Carers

Vicki’s connection to care began at a young age through growing up alongside her uncle, who has a learning disability. Spending time within the community and attending events gave her a natural understanding of the care environment and inspired a strong desire to support others. She began her career in an adult residential care home before moving into domiciliary care.

Vicki joined Right at Home in 2018 and, through her hard work and commitment to providing high-quality care, progressed to the role of Senior Carer in 2023 - one of her proudest achievements.

As part of her senior responsibilities, Vicki completes regular client reviews to ensure each person continues to receive the right care and support. She also carries out Carer observations, helping her colleagues maintain high standards and providing guidance where needed. Alongside these responsibilities, Vicki continues to deliver hands-on care to clients across Poole.

Before beginning her career in care, Vicki worked as a hairdresser. Her friendly and approachable nature has remained an important part of her work, helping her build positive relationships with clients and fellow Carers alike.

Outside of work, Vicki enjoys boxing classes, baking and watching television series. She also loves spending time with her children and taking them to their various sports classes. Having first seen the boyband Blue when she was 14, Vicki recently enjoyed reliving her youth by seeing them perform at Lighthouse Poole. Her favourite local seaside view is Bournemouth Pier.
