 Charlotte O'Donoghue is the Area Finance Manager at Right at Home Cardiff & Newport, overseeing all financial operations within the organisation, including invoicing and payroll, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the service.

Charlotte began her journey with Right at Home in 2014 as a Care Assistant, before progressing into the office as an Administration Assistant. She continued to develop her skills and knowledge, moving into the role of Finance Assistant and ultimately progressing to her current position as Finance Manager.

Her progression reflects her dedication, attention to detail, and strong commitment to the organisation. Charlotte plays a vital role in supporting the wider team, helping to ensure the business runs smoothly so that the highest standard of care can be delivered to clients in the community.

Why did you get into care?

“My journey into care started as a Care Assistant, and it quickly showed me how important the work we do really is. Even though I now work within finance, I still feel strongly connected to the impact we make every day.
