Dom Guishard is a Finance Assistant at Right at Home Cardiff & Newport, supporting the financial operations of the business and contributing to the smooth running of the service.

Dom’s journey with Right at Home is impressive, beginning when the business first started. She initially joined as a Care Assistant, a role she held for several years, during which she developed strong relationships with clients and gained invaluable experience within the care sector.

Over the years, Dom has progressed through a variety of roles within the organisation, including Moving and Handling Trainer and Business Development Manager. Her wide-ranging experience has given her a deep understanding of both care delivery and business operations.

Following her maternity leave, Dom made the decision to transition into her current role as Finance Assistant, where she continues to enjoy contributing to the organisation in a meaningful way while balancing her personal commitments.

Dom is a highly valued member of the team, known for her dedication, adaptability, and long-standing commitment to Right at Home. She takes great pride in being part of a company that shares her values and consistently strives to deliver the very best care.

Why did you get into care?

“My journey into care started as a Care Assistant, and it quickly became something I felt passionate about. I loved being able to support people, build relationships, and make a positive difference in their lives.

Although my role has changed over the years, my passion for being part of such a caring and supportive organisation has never changed. I feel incredibly fortunate to work for a company that values both its clients and its team.”
