Jaime Coles is a Newport Coordinator at Right at Home Cardiff & Newport, bringing a wealth of hands-on experience, practical skills, and a lifelong connection to the care sector.

Jaime started her career in care 10 years ago as a Care Coordinator and has developed a strong understanding of the demands and rewards of domiciliary care. From a young age, she was exposed to the industry as her mum built and ran her own domiciliary care company, giving her early insight into high-quality, person-centred care.

She is highly skilled in a wide range of areas and describes herself as a “jack of all trades,” with a practical, problem-solving approach. Jaime holds a Level 3 qualification in Paramedic Sciences and Health and Social Care and is currently studying Biomedical Science at university. Alongside her academic and professional development, she enjoys kayaking and carpentry, and also spends time servicing lawnmowers in her spare time.

Jaime is passionate about delivering high-quality care and ensuring both clients and carers feel fully supported in their roles. She is committed to making a positive difference every day through reliable, person-centred coordination and support.

Why did you get into care?
“I started in care 10 years ago as a Care Coordinator, but I’ve been around the industry for much longer as my mum built and ran a domiciliary care company when I was growing up.

I’ve always been passionate about supporting people to remain independent in their own homes. For me, it’s about making sure both clients and carers feel supported, valued, and cared for every day.”
