Laura French is the Recruitment, Retention & Digital Marketing Coordinator at Right at Home Cardiff & Newport, supporting both the growth of the team and the promotion of high-quality care within the community.

She is passionate about sharing the work of Right at Home and helping to showcase the difference the team makes every day through digital platforms and community engagement. Alongside this, Laura is completing her Master’s in English & Creative Writing, reflecting her dedication to learning and personal development.

Laura has played an important role in supporting the team’s success, contributing to winning the Regional Great British Care Awards 3 R’s Award in both 2024 and 2025. The team has also been recognised as finalists at the Social Care Wales Accolades 2026, in the category “Innovative ways of recruiting and retaining the workforce.”

Why did you get into care?

“I have always been passionate about helping others and making a positive difference, which is why I was drawn to the care sector. I feel incredibly proud to be part of a team that shares those values.
