Rebecca Floyd

Training Co-Ordinator

Rebecca holds a Level 4 Diploma in Adult Health and Social Care and is a qualified Level 3 Trainer in Moving & Handling, First Aid and Medication.

"I was 17 when I first started working in a care home, and I did it for many years while also looking after a very poorly family member. It was only when a colleague told me about Right at Home Eastbourne & Bexhill that I decided to try home care; I looked at their website and loved the way they spoke about their values, and reading the reviews from family members really brightened my day, and I felt that I really wanted to be a part of it – I applied the same day, got a call-back immediately and have been with the company ever since.

After working as a Senior CareGiver for two years, I had the opportunity to become a Trainer.  I first enrolled on the Train the Trainer courses offered at Right at Home and subsequently qualified as a Level 3 Trainer in Moving & Handling, First Aid, and Medication.  I have recently completed my Level 4 Diploma and Apprenticeship in Adult Care.

All I've ever wanted to do is teach people the right way to provide care and support.  Every day I feel like I make a difference.

I feel so valued and I’m proud to say I work for Right at Home Eastbourne & Bexhill."
