Make a Real Difference Every Day

Choosing a career in care is about far more than finding a job. It is about finding somewhere you feel valued, supported and able to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.

At Right at Home Salisbury & Andover, we believe exceptional care begins with exceptional people. That is why we are committed to creating a workplace where our Carers feel appreciated, listened to and proud of the work they do.

Few careers offer the same sense of purpose as care.

As one of our Care Professionals, you will support people to remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes. This might involve helping someone prepare a meal, supporting them with personal care, accompanying them to an appointment or simply sharing a cup of tea and a meaningful conversation.

These everyday moments can have an enormous impact. You will not only provide practical support—you will offer reassurance, companionship and dignity to clients and their families when they need it most.

Be Part of a Supportive, Family-Run Team

Right at Home Salisbury & Andover is a family-run business, and we want everyone who joins us to feel part of that family.

You will never be treated as just another name on a rota. Our office team takes the time to get to know you, understand your strengths and support you through any challenges.

Care can be demanding, so knowing someone is available when you need advice is incredibly important. From your first day with us, you will have access to ongoing guidance and a friendly team that genuinely wants you to succeed.

We also make time to recognise the people behind the care. Whether it is celebrating achievements, highlighting outstanding work or simply saying thank you, we want our Carers to know how much their contribution matters.

Quality Care Without Feeling Rushed

We believe care should be personal, not transactional.

Our visits are carefully planned to give our Care Assistants the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with their clients. Wherever possible, we introduce clients to a consistent team of Carers so that familiarity, confidence and trust can develop over time.

This person-centred approach means you can get to know the individual behind the care plan—their routines, interests, preferences and the things that make them smile.

It is this continuity that helps turn good care into truly outstanding care.

Training That Builds Your Confidence

You do not necessarily need previous care experience to join our team. What matters most is having the right values: kindness, patience, reliability and a genuine desire to help others.

We provide comprehensive paid training to help you develop the knowledge and practical skills you need to deliver safe, confident and compassionate care.

Your development does not stop once your initial training is complete. You will receive ongoing support, refresher training and opportunities to expand your skills as your career progresses.

Our team also undertakes specialist training in areas such as dementia support and delegated healthcare tasks, helping us meet a wide range of client needs while giving our Carers valuable opportunities for professional development.

Excellent Pay and Employee Benefits

Care can offer a fulfilling long-term career with many different pathways.

You may join us as a Care Assistant and later decide to become a Senior Carer, mentor new members of the team, develop specialist knowledge or progress into a role within care management.

Whatever your ambitions, we want to help you develop. We recognise potential, encourage learning and support team members who are ready to take the next step.

We believe the dedication of our Carers should be recognised and rewarded.

When you join Right at Home Salisbury & Andover, you can benefit from:

  • Competitive rates of pay
  • Enhanced weekend and bank holiday pay
  • Paid training
  • Mileage allowance

“Such an amazing company to work for, my training was so thorough and they really have given me so much confidence! I couldn’t imagine not being part of the team now, it’s by far the most supportive workplace I’ve ever had and I really do enjoy my job at right at home.”
