Costs vary depending on your individual needs and care plan. We’ll always make sure your support is value for money, and we adjust your plan as your needs change.

You may also be eligible for support through your local authority, Hampshire County Council or Southampton City Council.

Many of our Clients enjoy staying connected to the places, hobbies, and routines that have always been part of their lives in Southampton. That might mean a gentle walk through Southampton Common, visiting the marina around Ocean Village, spending time by the waterfront, or enjoying a quiet coffee with a familiar face.

For some people, it is about maintaining links with their local community, whether that is attending a community group, visiting local shops, or simply getting out and about with the reassurance of trusted support alongside them. Others enjoy trips to local parks, garden centres, cafés, or seasonal events taking place across the city.

Football is also a huge part of life for many local people, and we know how meaningful it can be to continue supporting Southampton F.C. and staying connected to matchday traditions and conversations around the club. For some Clients, that might mean reminiscing about matches, watching games together at home, or enjoying the atmosphere around St Mary's Stadium on match day.

Our role is always to support people in continuing to enjoy the things that matter most to them, helping everyday life remain familiar, fulfilling, and connected to the community they know and love.

Yes. Right at Home Southampton can support people as they return home following a hospital stay or surgery, helping make the transition from hospital to home feel safer and less overwhelming. 

Whether you are recovering after an operation, illness, or period of rehabilitation, our Carers can provide support with day-to-day routines, mobility, personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, and attending follow-up appointments.

We regularly support people returning home from local hospitals such as Southampton General Hospital, Royal South Hants Hospital, and Spire Southampton Hospital, helping Clients recover comfortably in familiar surroundings with the reassurance of trusted support around them.

Anyone who needs extra support to stay safe and well at home. That includes older adults, people with long-term conditions, or those recovering after illness or injury.

Homecare can support people in many different situations and at many different stages of life. Some Clients may simply want companionship and help around the home, while others may require more specialist support such as dementia care, complex care, or live-in care. 

For many families, homecare also provides reassurance that a loved one has trusted support in place while remaining close to the routines, pets, possessions, and familiar surroundings that bring comfort and stability to everyday life.

If daily tasks are becoming harder, it’s a good time to start the conversation. Early support can often lead to better outcomes and less stress for everyone involved.

Care does not have to begin at a point of crisis. For many families, putting support in place earlier can help someone remain independent for longer while giving reassurance that help is there when needed. Whether it is support with household tasks, companionship, dementia care, or more comprehensive live-in care, starting the conversation early gives everyone more time to consider what feels right without added pressure or urgency. 

If you are facing a sudden change in circumstances, such as a hospital discharge, illness, or an unexpected decline in health, we can also work quickly to put care in place and provide reassurance during what can often feel like an overwhelming time.

Of course. Many of our Clients reach out directly to take charge of their care. We’ll work with you to design a plan that helps you stay independent and live life on your terms.

We understand that asking for support can feel like a big step, particularly if you have always been independent. Our role is not to take over your life or routines, but to support you in continuing to live the way you want to. Care can begin with something as simple as a few hours of companionship each week and adapt over time if your needs change, always shaped around what matters most to you.
