Advanced In-House Clinical Care Training
CareGivers at Right at Home Swindon now receive professional in-house training in several key areas of clinical care, delivered by qualified trainers. This enhanced training programme ensures CareGivers are confident, competent, and fully prepared to deliver safe and effective support to Clients requiring:
- Stoma Care – Providing discreet, respectful care for Clients living with a stoma, including hygiene and appliance changes.
- Catheter Management – Supporting catheter care through safe drainage bag changes, cleaning routines, and regular monitoring.
- Wound Dressing – Conducting dressing changes and assessing wound healing in a hygienic and reassuring manner.
- PEG Feeding (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) – Delivering nutritional support through PEG feeds with precision and care.
This clinical training enhances the existing knowledge of CareGivers and ensures they can support Clients with continuity and compassion, often avoiding the need for external district nursing support.
