My family has been providing care in the community over the last 50 years and from a young age I developed an empathy for those in need of care or support. Listening to others and understanding how to help comes naturally which is why I’ve instilled across the team our fundamental ethos of providing the same service to others as we would to our loved ones.

I have enjoyed a successful career in management working with policy and regulation which means the team are well placed to ensure all of our care services go above and beyond the stringent standards set by our regulator- the Care Quality Commission.  I pride myself in working to the highest standards which means no stone is left unturned in our team’s approach.  We work with unrivalled professionalism, and going the extra mile is part of everything that we do. I won’t accept anything less! I’m delighted that this has been recognised and we have been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, the highest rating available and places us in the top 5% of providers nationally and the only one in Bedfordshire with this accreditation. Aside from the day to day running of the business, I’m a trustee of a local charity supporting unpaid carers and aim to share best practice across the sector.  I also provide care myself and combatting loneliness and isolation is a personal motivation of mine and the chance to make a difference to people’s lives is very special to me.
