Right at Home Solent is a family-run Home Care company set up by husband-and-wife team Amy and Kev Popat. We are proud to have provided award-winning Care at home since 2015 and privileged to have helped over 1000 families in Fareham, Gosport, Southampton, the New Forest, and surrounding areas. Having lived with parents and grandparents at home, Amy and Kev set out to deliver the Care they would be proud for their family to receive; all the team do.
We are humbled to have been rated "Outstanding" by the CQC (Care Quality Commission), which is the highest rating and received the five-star employer award from the anonymous WorkBuzz survey results in 2023. With a Mental Health First Aider in the office and a conscious effort to aid all staff with their well-being, including weekly team check-ins, breathwork and yoga sessions, it isn't surprising that we have the best team.
Right at Home Solent provide industry-leading training to all staff which CareGivers complete before shadowing and eventually feeling confident enough to do their job to the best of their ability. We aim to match our CareGivers to our Clients and put together "one-page profiles" to enable us to do this; with our minimum of one-hour Care visits, it's essential that both parties feel comfortable and well-suited.
The personal choices of our Clients are at the forefront of the Care we provide, which is "outcome focused" and "person-centric", meaning that we support our Clients to achieve what they want - whether that is the ability to walk unaided to the bottom of their garden or to go dancing and swimming - no matter how big or small. We’ve taken Clients both dancing and swimming by the way!
