Starting Right at Home Solent with Amy in 2015 is one of my greatest achievements. I never imagined finding a vocation that I would be so passionate about. I come into work every day super excited about how we can support more vulnerable adults in the community - and I genuinely love what we do. I definitely feel blessed to be working in the care industry and being able to change lives on a daily basis.

Our core aim at Right at Home Solent is to “make a difference every day” and I am so proud to say that we do this, and we do it really well. We are blessed to be able to provide care and support in our local community around Gosport, Fareham and Southampton.

For us, making a difference is so much more than just providing high-quality care - it’s about supporting our clients to achieve things that they thought they might not be able to do again! We’ve got countless stories of supporting clients to achieve things they never thought they’d be able to do! Just have a look through some of our blogs to see the amazing things we’ve done.

When we started the business my Gran would always check in with me to ensure that we treat our CareGivers well and ensure we genuinely think about our clients. These conversations have really shaped the way I think, and hopefully, she’s proud of me. We ensure that our clients are at the centre of everything we do - because we have been through the journey of care that many families are now navigating.

I often think to myself, what mark do I want to leave on the world? Being a great father and husband is one of them for sure, but in my more recent years, this also includes having a positive impact on my local community. I am confident to say that we are already making a mark locally, and want to support as many more vulnerable adults locally as possible.
