Right At Home Nominates Harry To ‘Homecare’s Got Talent’ awards

Published: 15/07/2025

When we first nominated Harry for Homecare’s Got Talent, we knew we were backing someone special. On 8th July 2025, Harry made it all the way to the semi-finals of the competition at Sadler's Wells theatre in London. It’s a huge achievement, and while he didn’t make it to the finals, we couldn’t be more proud of him. Harry is the star of our office! Harry's journey is nothing short of inspiring.

In 2019, Harry joined our team at Right at Home Stevenage, Bishop’s Stortford & Braintree, before we had any clients. From the very beginning, it was clear that Harry was an exceptional carer, demonstrating qualities such as kindness, respect, and a positive attitude. His caring and jovial nature made an immediate impact on both clients and colleagues alike. Harry’s loveable personality and his natural ability to connect with people really sets him apart. He has a unique way of making those around him feel valued and supported, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere wherever he goes.

One of Harry’s standout achievements this year has been the incredible progress made with his main client, which has not only improved the client’s sense of wellbeing but also had a positive ripple effect on those close to them. Harry’s compassion and dedication shine through in all aspects of his work.

Beyond his professional skills, Harry also has a deep love for music, which he pursues with great passion. He is an incredibly talented performer and music producer, having toured the UK with his band, ‘Harry & The Grecian Kings’. Among his many accomplishments, one highlight was being the warm-up act for none other than Lulu. For more information, visit the website https://harrykonline.com/.

We were thrilled to nominate Harry for the ‘Homecare’s Got Talent’ awards, now in its second year, and his audition tape was a beautiful rendition of My Way by Frank Sinatra.

The semi-finals were a moment to remember. Chris and Liza, our MD and Care Manager, made sure to be there to cheer Harry on. Performing a medley of Elvis songs, he wowed the judges and the audience alike. His voice, his presence, his energy - everything about his performance was incredible. The judges, including the Chery Baker from Buck Fizz, were impressed, and it was clear that Harry had made his mark.

Though Harry didn’t make it to the finals, his semi-final appearance was an incredible accomplishment in itself - especially because Harry had not fully recovered from a recent bout of pneumonia. Reaching that stage in a competition is impressive, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way he represented himself, his talent and our team.

While this year’s Homecare’s Got Talent journey may have come to an end, we are already looking forward to next year’s competition. Harry’s performance was just the beginning of what we hope will be many more opportunities for him to showcase his incredible talent.

Whether it’s in caregiving or music, Harry continues to inspire us all, reminding us of the power of passion, dedication, and kindness.
We feel really proud to have Harry as part of our team. His work as a carer, his incredible musical talent and his big heart makes him someone very special indeed.

We can’t wait to see where his journey takes him next - and we’ll be cheering him on every step of the way!
