We’re absolutely thrilled to celebrate an incredible milestone - our very own Meg has been crowned UK CareGiver of the Year at the annual Right at Home Celebration Awards!
This award is one of the most meaningful of the night, recognising the heart and soul of what Right at Home represents: compassion, reliability, and an unwavering commitment to others. When Meg’s name was announced, the room erupted in applause: a fitting tribute to someone whose care, humour and dedication have touched so many lives.

Since joining Right at Home in 2023, Meg has set a standard few could match. She consistently delivers exceptional care with professionalism, warmth and humility. Averaging more than 44 client-facing hours a week - often rising above 50 with travel - Meg’s devotion to her clients and colleagues is nothing short of extraordinary.
Meg’s impact extends far beyond the practicalities of care. Clients describe her as dependable, joyful and endlessly kind. Whether offering encouragement to help someone walk again, sitting for hours with a grieving client, or racing to assist someone in need while on annual leave, Meg embodies everything that makes care so special.
Her colleagues call her “the backbone of our team” and “the gold standard” and we couldn’t agree more.
A Well-Deserved Honour
Promoted to Senior Carer in record time, Meg has never received a complaint, taken just one day off sick, and continues to lift everyone around her with humour and heart.
Meg’s achievement is more than a personal victory; it’s a reflection of the compassion and excellence that define our entire team.
