What to Expect

The Companion Café is a safe, social, and supportive space where you can enjoy:

  • Stimulating games and gentle activities
  • Entertainment tailored for people living with dementia
  • Tea, biscuits, and good company
  • Time for carers to chat and take a well-deserved break

 A Break for Caregivers

While your loved one is engaged in meaningful and dementia-friendly entertainment, you’ll have the chance to meet other family members, share experiences, or simply enjoy a moment of rest. It’s a break for caregivers, just as much as it is a treat for those being cared for.

Why We Do It

At Right at Home Swindon, we know how valuable companionship, community, and consistent support can be for both individuals and their carers. That’s why we’re proud to continue hosting this monthly café alongside Haydon Wick Parish Council—keeping it accessible, inclusive, and full of warmth.
