Tea, Cake and Community: Raising £231 for Breast Cancer Now

On Wednesday 28th October, we welcomed guests to the Tawny Owl in Swindon for an afternoon tea party in aid of Breast Cancer Now. It was a chance to come together over a cup of tea and a slice of cake, enjoy each other’s company and support an important cause. With bingo to play, a raffle packed with prizes and plenty of laughter along the way, there was lots to look forward to. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised a fantastic £231, making a lovely afternoon all the more special.

There was plenty to enjoy throughout the afternoon, from sweet treats and cups of tea to a game of bingo that added a little friendly competition. Our raffle also gave guests the chance to win some wonderful prizes, including vineyard and distillery tours, a De Vere experience for two, hampers and family days out. Between the bingo and raffle, there was plenty of time to chat, share a laugh and enjoy being together.

Whether you joined us on the day, made a donation or helped with the preparations, your contribution helped us raise £231 for Breast Cancer Now. A special thank you also goes to the businesses and individuals who donated our wonderful raffle prizes. Your generosity gave our guests plenty to get excited about and helped us raise money for this important cause.
