Celebrating Clare and Clair at the Care & Support West Awards 2026

Reaching the finals of the Care & Support West Awards is a wonderful achievement, and this year we were incredibly proud to see two members of the Right at Home Swindon team recognised.

Our Care Assistants Clare and Clair were both named finalists at the 2026 awards, which were held at Ashton Gate Stadium. The evening gave us a special opportunity to celebrate their kindness, dedication and the difference they make to our Clients, their families and their colleagues every day.

Clair was shortlisted in the Dignity in Care Frontline Worker category. Since joining Right at Home Swindon in June 2025, she has made an incredible impact through her kindness, compassion and person-centred approach. From helping Clients rebuild their confidence and independence to supporting new Care Assistants, Clair always goes the extra mile to ensure others feel valued and respected.

Clare was named a finalist in the Community Care Front Line category. During almost nine years with Right at Home Swindon, she has supported countless Clients, families and colleagues. Her patience, understanding and dedication are particularly evident in her work with people living with dementia, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.

Although they were recognised in different categories, Clare and Clair share the same commitment to providing outstanding care. Their meaningful relationships with Clients and willingness to support those around them reflect the values at the heart of Right at Home Swindon.

The Care & Support West Awards gave our team the perfect opportunity to come together and celebrate Clare and Clair’s fantastic achievements.

Everyone enjoyed a lovely meal and celebratory drinks, along with entertainment from a magician and live music from a brilliant tribute artist. It was a fun and memorable evening filled with laughter, celebration and plenty of well-deserved recognition for people working across the care sector.

We were delighted to share such a special occasion with Clare and Clair and to recognise the care, compassion and dedication they bring to their roles every day.
