Celebrating Recognition for Outstanding Care

We are delighted to announce that two members of the Right at Home Swindon team, Clair and Clare, have been shortlisted as finalists in the Care and Support West Awards 2026.

The annual awards celebrate excellence across the adult social care sector, recognising individuals who make a meaningful difference to the lives of the people they support. This year saw a record-breaking 349 nominations reviewed by a panel of 19 judges, making the achievement even more special.

Clair has been shortlisted in the Dignity in Care Frontline Worker category, while Clare has been recognised in the Community Care Front Line category. Their nominations reflect the compassion, dedication and person-centred approach they bring to supporting Clients and their families every day.

As a local care provider, we are incredibly proud to see their hard work recognised and look forward to celebrating their success at the awards ceremony later this year.

Recognising Excellence in Care and Support

The Care and Support West Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations across the adult social care sector. With a record 349 nominations submitted this year, being selected as a finalist is a significant achievement and reflects the exceptional standard of care delivered by both Clair and Clare.

Clair was shortlisted in the Dignity in Care Frontline Worker category in recognition of her commitment to promoting independence, dignity and choice for the Clients she supports. Since joining Right at Home Swindon in 2025, she has become known for her compassionate approach, willingness to support colleagues and determination to help Clients achieve positive outcomes.

Clare was shortlisted in the Community Care Front Line category following nearly nine years of dedicated service. Throughout her time with Right at Home Swindon, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional compassion and professionalism, particularly when supporting Clients living with dementia and those facing challenging circumstances.

Both Carers have made a lasting impact on the lives of Clients and their families through their person-centred approach and commitment to going above and beyond. Their nominations also recognise the positive influence they have on colleagues, regularly supporting new Carers and helping to maintain the high standards of care that Right at Home Swindon is proud to deliver.

The winners will be announced at the Care and Support West Awards Gala Dinner in October, where care professionals from across the region will come together to celebrate excellence within the sector.

"We are incredibly proud of both Clair and Clare for this well-deserved recognition. Their dedication, compassion and commitment to supporting Clients every day perfectly reflect the values we strive to uphold at Right at Home Swindon. To see their hard work recognised at a regional level is a fantastic achievement for both individuals and our wider team."
