Whilst in Priorslee, you can discover the architectural gems and local landmarks influenced by the Lilleshall Company, a prominent ironworks company during the Victorian era. Immerse yourself in the company's legacy through its grand buildings, landscaped gardens, and preserved structures.

Priorslee Lake is a picturesque spot for water sports enthusiasts. If you are interested in sailing, the Telford Sailing Club is a renowned destination that welcomes both experienced sailors and beginners. For families, Priorslee offers more than just water sports. Explore the nearby woodlands and parks, perfect for picnics, nature walks, and outdoor adventures.

The Lion Inn Public House, located on Shifnal Road behind Priorslee Village, is also a popular spot in the area. This traditional pub has a cosy atmosphere and serves classic pub food, cask ales, premium gins, and wines. Additionally, the pub has an inviting outdoor area where you can enjoy light lunches as you watch the world go by.

Our Home Care Services

Hourly Care Calls - We provide assistance with daily tasks including showering, dressing, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping through our hourly care calls.

Companionship Support – Companionship lies at the heart of every interaction and support we provide to our clients in Priorslee and all the other areas where we provide care including Telford, East Shropshire and South Staffordshire. We offer companionship visits to our clients and often accompany them on outdoor activities such as local walks and trips to restaurants. Loneliness can affect individuals in our community in various ways, so it's crucial to ensure that our clients receive companionship, which is uplifting and essential for their mental health.

Live-in Care – As the demand for support services in the community continues to rise, the need for live-in care has become more prevalent. Not everyone wants to move into a care home eventually. With high levels of need, requiring day and night care and support, individuals can receive the necessary care and support while living comfortably in their own homes. Our exceptional CareGivers will come and live with you or your loved one, providing assistance with all aspects of daily living needs.

What Makes Right at Home Telford Different?

We offer Home Care Services to seniors and adults in the Telford, East Shropshire, and South Staffordshire areas, including those with physical and cognitive impairment needs such as Dementia. Our highly-trained CareGivers deliver services that are tailored to each individual's needs through a Personalised Care Plan. Our CareGivers take pride and aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve every day.

  • At Right at Home Telford, East Shropshire and South Staffordshire, we carefully match our CareGivers and Clients based on their interests and personalities. Before our CareGivers start providing support independently, they are first introduced to their Clients. This introduction is very important as it helps to build trust and comfort, which are essential for effective caregiving. This initial meeting also allows the client to get to know the CareGiver and establish a personal connection, which can help to reduce any anxiety that may be associated with receiving care from someone new. Introductory visits have also added to the CareGiver’s understanding of the client's specific needs, preferences, and expectations, which enables them to contribute to a more personalised and responsive care plan.
  • We have a professional dress code but do not wear a uniform, as we recognise that some of our Clients would prefer a discreet service when we accompany them out and about in the local community and surrounding areas. This approach not only respects the individuality and preferences of our clients but also helps in maintaining their dignity and sense of normalcy, making our presence more like that of a companion than a service provider.
  • We pride ourselves on being quick to react, vigilant in our duty of care, and always aiming to leave a smile on our clients' faces. By prioritising prompt responsiveness and a caring attitude, we not only ensure the well-being and safety of our clients, but also foster a positive and uplifting atmosphere, which enhances their overall quality of life with each visit.
  • No Rushed Visits - Our preferred visit time for homecare services is a minimum of one hour. While some care companies offer 15-minute care calls, we believe that this duration is not enough to provide high-quality, impactful, and long-lasting care. Therefore, we provide premium-quality homecare services for a minimum of one hour to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care.
Support at home instead of going into a care home

"I work with regular Clients and most visits last for at least one hour, so you can get to know them really well and there’s always time to sit and talk and make sure they are okay. You can tell that is what they really enjoy and it’s what makes the job so rewarding. It also means you have time to pick up on any small changes in their condition, which may be a warning sign of something bigger. I would find it very difficult to do this job if I was forced to do 15-minute visits, but thankfully at Right at Home it’s never been done."
