Bright Gurupira

My journey in care began back in 2000 when I first supported individuals living with early-onset dementia. That experience opened my eyes to just how powerful high-quality care can be — not only in meeting physical needs, but in lifting spirits and helping people feel truly valued. Since then, I’ve worked across various care settings, including post-operative rehabilitation, residential and nursing homes, and community care.

For me, this is more than just a role — it’s a lifelong commitment to making sure people can live with dignity, independence, and purpose. I’m especially passionate about supporting our CareGivers to thrive. I believe that when CareGivers feel trained, appreciated, and supported, they’re able to make an incredible impact in the lives of those they care for.

What I find most rewarding is seeing those meaningful connections form between our team and our clients — the little everyday moments that build trust and joy.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography and often cover local community events. I also love being part of initiatives that promote healthy ageing and community wellbeing.

It’s a privilege to lead a team that shares the same values, and I’m proud of the difference we make — one client and one CareGiver at a time.
