I opened Right at Home (Wimbledon, Putney & Kingston) in 2011 after experiencing for myself, as my own mother’s health was deteriorating, how difficult it was to arrange quality, trusted care at home for a family loved-one.
I decided I no longer wanted to ride the corporate treadmill – instead I wanted to wake up in the mornings, jump out of bed with enthusiasm and a great sense of purpose, looking forward to what I was going to do that day. I have therefore brought together the skills I have developed over the last 20 years as an HR Director, with my experience of looking after my Mum, to run a business I find so rewarding.
Our strategy is simple: we get to know each person and create a specialised care plan based upon your individual needs. We set high standards for those who provide your care, in order to bring peace of mind to people who use our services and their families.
Our aim is to assist you to maintain your independence, whilst at all times respecting your privacy and dignity. We can make a difference to people’s lives, from providing companionship or doing errands, right the way through to complex care needs.
I chose to open Right at Home (Wimbledon, Putney & Kingston) due to the strong code of professional ethics that I found was evident across Right at Hom e’s offices worldwide.
It is wonderful to be part of a company that sets such high standards and has such a highly ethical code of conduct, which is extremely important to me.
